One Direction

Last year, South Africa received the most amazing news. The famous five boys were heading our way. After a little bit of convincing, my parents bought some tickets and we were set to watch ONE DIRECTION on the 28th of March in Johannesburg. This was their first time coming here and I was so super excited, as I had been a fan for a few years. But when the album 'FOUR' came out, and I loved it, I was jumping in my seat ready to go.

We left a little early and decided to stay at Sun City. Ever seen the Adam Sandler movie 'Blended' ? Yup, that place. We stayed at the vacation club in a cute little house but I enjoyed going to the casino, Valley Of Waves and the main hotels. If any of you guys are heading to South Africa or you live here already and want a holiday near Johannesburg, Sun City is the place to go.

Anyway, a few days earlier we found out that Zayn left the band and that was really sad because now I'll never be able to see 5/5 boys together. Our show was their first official show as a foursome which had to count as something.

On the day of the concert I just couldn't wait! I waited for nearly half a year and now the day has come! We left quite early because we had a 2 hour drive until we got to the concert. Once we got closer the stadium there was a ROAD FULL OF JUST ONE DIRECTION GIRLS DANCING IN THEIR CAR, IT WAS INCREDIBLE. It's like we were all on a little adventure and I didn't even know the people. When we got into the stadium it was madness. People screaming and jumping just at the name One Direction. I've never seen so many people in one place at one time. Once everyone was in their place and the opening act (which was Johnny Apple and I rate he's worth checking out. He was really good) came out the tension was swallowing the room.

When they came on it was crazy. Everyone was screaming. I was screaming. It was just so incredible. They sang so well and it was so funny and bananas were thrown on stage etc etc. It was probably one of the best nights of my life. Even with only four of them it was still amazing. Even if you are not a fan you will become one after you go to a show! TRUST ME! It was sooo exciting and wonderful and every good adjective there is in the world. They sang all the songs I wanted them to sing (except Act My Age but anyway) and they said jokes and made us do the mexican wave. And at the end I just couldn't believe it was done. I was so sad but so happy I don't even know!

But the point of this post was to share my experience and recommend it to ANYONE, even if you're not a fan because even my dad was dancing so there you go : ) (sorry the photos weren't all that great). ♥ ♥
